What Motivated Kamisha Block’s Murder by Paul Brandon Norris?

Due of their relationship, Paul Brandon Norris committed this murder-suicide.

At Fort Hood in Texas, Paul and Kamisha first met, and their spark turned into love very soon. When they arrived in Iraq, the situation had become heated, and Kamisha wanted to cancel.

Later, a military friend of Kamisha’s stationed at the same Iraqi institution acknowledged feeling imprisoned in the union. They also mentioned that Kamisha refused to bring up Paul in any conversations when it was brought up in the days prior to the incident.

The strangest aspect of the whole story, though, is that on August 17, 2007, the two soldiers tasked with telling Kamisha’s family of her death told them that she had passed away after taking a single gunshot to the chest from direct fire. Naturally, when Kamisha’s body was arrived and her family noticed the multiple wounds, they started to wonder.

Specific accounts claim that Paul Brandon’s behavior was suspect before to Kamisha’s unfortunate death, and the Army afterwards deleted multiple records pertaining to his actions. Additionally, it’s asserted that Brandon had difficulties that day and was unable to take part in a mission.

On August 16, 2007, two 401st Military Police Company members, Kamisha Block and Paul Brandon Norris, who had been transferred from Fort Hood, Texas, to Camp Liberty, Iraq, were shot and murdered.

The 30-year-old Staff Sergeant allegedly entered Kamisha’s residence that day and instructed her roommate to keep their distance. The roommate carried out orders but remained nearby. So when she heard a few gunshots, she rushed to the door and opened it only to see Paul pointing the gun at her.

Kamisha, 20, was bleeding on the ground after being shot five times in the head and chest. Paul, though, was unharmed at that point. The Staff Sergeant disobeyed orders to either speak or shoot the roommate and instead turned the gun on himself and fired once, aiming directly for his head.
